Spinnin'

I've been spinning a lot lately. This one is silk/merino top that I purchased somewhere on ebay in white and dyed it. I think it turned out lovely. I don't know why I dyed only 50 grams and left 50grams white... strange thinking... Thick-ish lace weight, single ply.

Vela pradiem v poslednej dobe.

And my pride and joy: merino top, Oyster colourway (in the shop at the moment), beautiful. I love good muted pink, barely there colour, dreamy dusty attic sort of thing.

I have kept one merino top from today's shop update, I couldn't resist. It's destined to be 3ply sock yarn.

Jeden cesanec, co som si musela nechat...

I really liked the Mermaid colorway.

I am really curious to know what you spin with.

Basht - thank you!

Julie - I have second hand Louet s51, but I'd like faster wheel or lace flyer :)

lovely colours! brownish pinks don't suit me for garments - but I do like the colours just to look at! and I have a louet s51 too:)) though I am very happy to own a lendrum upright now, too - if you spin a lot it's really worth every penny (I was lucky to get it 2nd hand - but they aren't easy to find over here) still, it's in the spinner, not the wheel!
